The Team of 2025 Event in DLS 26 is set to introduce a fresh wave of content, bringing 11 new special players to Dream League Soccer 2026. This limited-time event brings exclusive green-coloured player cards, adding a new visual excitement for DLS players worldwide. The event is similar to the Star Players events.
New Green Card Design
One of the biggest highlights of the Team of 2025 event is the introduction of green special cards. These cards replace last year’s pink Dream Stars cards, bringing a more premium and refreshed look. This new design adds more visual appeal to the players and increases variety alongside existing special cards. This prompts the gamers to spend money on Season Passes and other in-game currencies. Overall, this change makes team line-ups feel more vibrant and modern.

The event features 11 Special Players. The confirmed players included in the Team of 2025 event are:

- Mohamed Salah
- Pedri
- Lamine Yamal
- Achraf Hakimi
- Gianluigi Donnarumma
- Nuno Mendes
- Gabriel

These players will be available exclusively through the Team of 2025 event. After the event ends, you won’t be able to sign these players later on. Compared to previous events, this year we see a noticeable upgrade in players’ ratings, as most of the players have 87, 86, and 85 OVR ratings.
How to get Team of 2025 Players in DLS 26
Just like last year, you can sign the players using Special Agents. You can collect Agents by:
- Completing Online Events/Cups/Tournaments
- Progressing through the Season Pass
- Buying a Season Pass and unlocking the hidden Agents that are locked in the leaderboard.

Community Reactions: Praise and Criticism
While many players appreciate the new card design and improved ratings, some in the community have raised concerns. It’s encouraging to see the developers pushing variations in DLS 26. These latest events clearly take inspiration from popular mobile football titles like eFootball Mobile and FC Mobile, which regularly introduce Special cards and special Events.
Although with these Events comes a lot of criticism from the community, as some players feel the cards reuse existing skills and attributes & they are only polished content with some flashy covers.
